1. YOUTH & Family Services
One of my objectives will be to continue creating and collaborating on sustainable programs and resources for our youth. As Chair of Public works, I made the Parent task force which invited parents and students in council chambers alongside the mayor and school administration to discuss and resolve real life issues.
2. Trash & ILLEGAL DUMPING
Another area I'd like to continue working on is trash, blight and illegal dumping. As Chair of public works I was able to draft Resolution . Hot spot Saturdays was responsible for removing 150 tons of waste from the city of Harrisburg. The best part is it was all volunteer based and cost the city nothing.
3. Basic Needs
My goal for Harrisburg Families is to ensure there are cleaner streets, livable wages, and resources. Here is the information for the Dinner Distribution program we just launched to combat the reduction of the SNAP program.
